Millions of children have been orphaned due to AIDS or malaria in Kenya. The government in Kenya is not capable to provide funding to most orphanages. Food and shelter are the most important needs; however, without education, the population will remain poverty stricken.
Doing philanthropic work will get you involved with the local people in a way that nothing else can. Anyone can become a volunteer, even children. From painting schools to organizing art projects, every little bit of effort helps and the smiles of gratitude will be imbedded in your memory forever. You will have an unforgettable experience and everyone wins. Below are some of the projects we are supporting.
Upcoming Mission Trip dates June 3rd to June 23th 2010.
You have the power to make a difference. Volunteer for three weeks, six months or a year. Transform your life and make a positive impact on the lives of others!
When you opt for a package that includes volunteer opportunities, you are assured of getting close to the local residents. Helping with community development is so worthwhile and you will come away with a sense of satisfaction for having contributed. Whether you are helping to build schools, teaching or working at an orphanage, sharing your skills allows you to give something back while you rediscover yourself.
